What grit sizes are available for GrindX silicon carbide abrasive filament?

Standard grits run from coarse 24# to fine 240#, covering stock removal through pre-polish preparation.

Grit size controls the finish and the removal rate more than any other parameter. Lower numbers mean coarser, more aggressive cutting; higher numbers mean finer, smoother finishes.

Grit Typical use
24# - 46# Heavy stock removal, descaling, aggressive deburring, textured finishes.
60# - 80# General surface preparation and uniform smoothing after coarse grinding.
120# - 180# Fine finishing, pre-polish preparation, edge radiusing.
240# Fine pre-polish passes on stone and metal before buffing or polishing.
